Why use the eXtend Site Control Panel ?
Some Customers, particularly those who have had a number of sites in the past, occasionally ask "Why use the eXtend Control Panel and not something like cPanel which I've had before?".

The answer is simple, cPanel is a web hosting control panel developed by a small company in America, many small hosting companies use cPanel as they need little technical expertise to install it on their server/s. The hosting company can manage cPanel using a web based administration panel.

Our approach is different, the development team have built the eXtend Control Panel 'in-house', making this a unique offering under local control.  It gives immense flexibility to add new features and update  existing ones without relying on third parties.  Customers play a big part in requesting these, and to date over 1000 improvements have been made and features added, based on this feedback.

If we did offer you cPanel and it needed a new feature we would have to ask and wait for the company behind cPanel to add it - with no guarantees it would ever be done.  Similarly, when new security issues arise - as you'd be aware they do, we, and you, could get into serious difficulties whilst waiting for essential fixes.
